The Halliday Center for Psychotherapy and Wellness, Inc. is seeking a motivated Postdoctoral Psychological Associate to join our collaborative group practice.

This position provides an opportunity to develop strong clinical skills within a professional environment that values thoughtful supervision, ethical practice, and professional growth.

Training Environment

Psychological Associates receive both individual and group supervision from experienced licensed psychologists and have the opportunity to work with a diverse client population across the lifespan.

Our goal is to support associates in developing clinical confidence, sound professional judgment, and a strong professional identity as they progress toward independent licensure.

Clinical Opportunities

Associates may gain experience providing psychotherapy to:

• Children and adolescents

• Adults and older adults

• Couples and families

• Individuals experiencing mood and anxiety disorders

• Individuals navigating trauma, life transitions, and relationship concerns

We welcome clinicians trained in evidence-based approaches such as:

CBT/DBT/ACT/EMDR/MBSR

Psychodynamic psychotherapy

Trauma-informed therapies

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy services under licensed supervision

• Maintain clinical documentation consistent with ethical and legal standards

• Participate in individual and group supervision

• Collaborate with colleagues within a professional clinical community

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in clinical psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.)

• Registered or eligible for registration as a Psychological Associate in California

• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to ethical practice

• Interest in developing psychotherapy skills within a collaborative professional setting

• Ability to provide both in-person and telehealth services

Compensation

Compensation is based on experience, ranging from $35.00-$50.00 per clinical hour and $25 per administrative hour.
