Life doesn't make any sense without interdependence. We need each other, and the sooner we learn that, the better for us all. - Erik Erikson

Frame of Mind
Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) is a U.S. immigration policy that allows some individuals who entered the country illegally as minors to receive a renewable two-year period of deferred action from deportation and to be eligible for a work permit. As of 2017, 800,000 "DREAMers" were enrolled in the program with one-quarter residing in California. On 9/11/17, CPA issued an information alert articulating its stand in complete support of the rights of DREAMers. The SDPA Board shares with CPA its support of DACA.
