The Forensic Committee meets once a month for dinner and discussion of
current case law, evaluation consultation, and testimony and deposition
examples and experiences.  SDPA members are welcome to attend and
participate.  Our goal is to promote forensic competency and professionalism
in psychologists who work in the legal arena.  Our goal is also to promote
and encourage knowledge and competency in any psychologist who has to
interact with a lawyer or a judge about his or her patient.  It is always
better to be prepared ahead of time than to scramble at the last minute and
show up unprepared and in panic to a deposition or hearing.  We welcome your
questions.
