With the Vision of enhancing human welfare by promoting the highest standards of practice in professional psychology in San Diego.  Our Mission is to have a positive impact on current issues related to psychology.  We strive to support professional independence, research, ethical practice, career development, education and networking with outside organizations and related professions.  We make every effort to serve the community in ways respectful of diversity as a local chapter of the California Psychological Association.

The San Diego Psychologist Association was established in 1976 under the name The Academy of San Diego Psychologist.  Through the years our organization has grown and changed with the times.  We hope you enjoy browsing through our website, learning about this organization, the field of psychology and the many resources available to our members, professionals in the mental health community and the community of San Diego.
